Welcome to the Woodhead Barn

The Woodhead Barn forms part of Hepshaw Farm and is home to Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team. As such it was refurbished with training and seminars in mind. The barn provides a training resource for the rescue team and a first class training facility for regional and national rescue related training.

External users of the barn have access to an excellent multipurpose facility and at the same time help to support the vital work undertaken by the team.

Thank you for the invite today. You have a fantastic new facility with the new barn and one everyone in Woodhead MRT should be very proud of. I know how much work goes into sorting out a building like that and I’m sure a lot of credit must go to quite a few members who will have put hours and hours of work in.
