1. The person named on the booking form shall be considered the hirer.
2. The hirer will be responsible for ensuring that the booked party vacates the barn at the time specified on the booking form. The hirer accepts that delay caused by non-compliance with this condition will result in an additional fee being charged.
3. The hirer will ensure strict compliance with no smoking legislation.
4. Rubbish should be taken away by the hirer and the barn should be left in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer accepts that non-compliance with this condition will result in an additional fee being charged.
5. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused.
6. The hirer will be held responsible for the conduct of persons using the Barn at all times. The use of the barn should at all times be conducted in a manner that does
not cause annoyance or disturbance to nearby occupants or properties.
7. The hirer will be responsible for obtaining a liquor licence (usually obtained via a landlord of a local public house) should one be required and will send a copy of the
licence to WMRT not less than 7 days before the date of the booking.
8. The hirer must ensure that the controls for the heating system are not tampered with.
9. The hirer is responsible for the condition of any equipment hired, and accepts that any damage will result in an additional fee being charged.
10. WMRT reserves the right to refuse a booking and will not be obliged to give it’s reasons for doing so.
11. Cancellation after payment and confirmation will result in a £10.00 administration fee being charged.
12. The right of entry to the room is reserved to members of WMRT at any time during the hire.
13. No tacks, screws, bolts ,nails or the like are to be driven into any part of the barn.
14. Property of the hirer must be removed immediately following the period of hire and WMRT accepts no responsibility for any property left.
15. No exits may be blocked or fire appliances removed or tampered with.
16. The hirer must be fully conversant with all emergency procedures and for having elected a fire marshal who is also familiar with the location of fire fighting equipment and the exits.
17. The Barn will be locked/ unlocked by a member of WMRT or a key will be issued to the hirer. In this case the hirer is responsible for ensuring the fire exits are unlocked during use and that the barn is secure after use. The hirer is also responsible for the return of the key. Non compliance will result in an additional fee being charged.
