Conferences, Functions & Training
With full conference, audio/visual training facilities, ample parking, wireless internet access and extensive catering facilities, The Woodhead Barn makes an ideal location for conferences, seminars and training.

Camping / Outdoors
The grounds have a purpose made camping space for 20 tents. Access to The Woodhad Barn provides showering and catering facilities. It is also an ideal venue for groups wanting easy access to the naturally rugged beauty of the area and bountiful wildlife. Access to National Cycle Trails and walking routes are also nearby.

Facilities:
Access to the barn is via keypad. There is a hook located on the wall to hold the door open if required. On entry to the barn there are seating benches and coat hangers for wet or dirty clothes and kit. We ask our guests to ensure the door is locked using the keypad whenever the barn is unoccupied especially on a multi-day or weekend hire period.
There is a small functional kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hot water boiler, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker, range cooker, extractor hood, sink with mixer tap, and hand-wash sink. There is a small serving hatch to the main hall.
Complimentary teabags, instant coffee and sugar are provided beside the hot water boiler.
Pots, pans, crockery and utensils, tea towels, scourers, and complimentary dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen cleaner, liquid hand-wash soap, kitchen towel and antibacterial cleaner are provided free of charge for guests use.
There are three bathrooms including one with disabled facilities. Each bathroom has a shower and is provided with a mirror, coat hooks, toilet roll holder, toilet-brush a small pedal bin, towels, toilet roll and liquid soap.
The main hall has a raised stage area with a small storage cupboard in the corner. There is a large screen that can be lowered and raised electronically for presentations and a projector that can be connected to a laptop. There is an audio socket and speakers. There are two whiteboards with pens and cleaner if required.

Large glass doors lead to the rear of the Barn and these must be unlocked when the Barn is in use to act as a fire escape and locked whenever you leave the building unoccupied.
An extinguisher and first aid bag are located at the entrance to the hall. The wooden door that covers the fixed window is secured by a combination padlock. Please ensure that all doors are locked and secured at the end of your stay.
Tables and chairs are stacked at the rear of the hall. Various pictures of the area are on display taken by several of our members who are keen photographers.
There is no access to the roof space above the kitchen and bathrooms allowed for guests.

1. Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Please be aware that the surrounding fields have livestock in them so any pets will need to be under controll at all times.

2. Can we sleep in the barn?

No, overnight stays must be by camping in the field provided.

3. The dates I want to book are showing as “not available”, is it worth making an enquiry anyway?

Yes. Some of the bookings are for partial days so we may be able to accomodate your booking.

4. What is the minimum booking period.
